What is an affiliate program?

An affiliate program allows people to offer our products for sale and receive a commission. The more people you point to the products, the more money you make. It cost you absolutely nothing nor does it cost the customer any more money.

I get 20% just by linking to your products?

Yes. There are a lot of products out there for photographers to buy, and we believe that quality is very important. If you believe in our products as much as we do, then we are happy to share with you. For example, if over a month, people click on your links and end up buying $3,000 worth of products, you will get $450.  It’s just that simple.

How to get started

Getting started is quick and easy. If you’re knew to eJunkie or need some additional help we’ve documented the step-by-step process.

  1. Sign up as a Stuck in Customs affiliate

    2. If you have not done so already, sign up at e-junkie as a Stuck In Customs affiliate. You will be provided a custom hyperlink to use on your websites.

     

  2. Review some affiliate marketing tips

    3. Darren over at ProBlogger has some great tips for using affiliate programs.

     

  3. Update your website and/or blog

    4. The easiest way to begin recommending Flatbooks and Stuck In Customs products is to insert an ad image onto your website and/or blog. We’ve provided a variety of ads in different shapes/sizes for you to choose from. Be sure that the hyperlink for the ad is using your custom hyperlink.

  4. Spread the word

    5. You’re now set to spread the word about Flatbooks and Stuck In Customs. Some ideas for sharing with others include using Twitter, Facebook, email, blog posts and the most effective way… word of mouth through personal testimonies.

     

  5. Reap the rewards

    6. As the referrals start flowing in we’ll take it from there. If a customer purchases a product, and that purchase is tied to your Affiliate ID, then you get 20% of every sale. You will be automatically paid quarterly into your Paypal account. It’s that easy!

What is E-Junkie and what do they have to do with FlatBooks.com?

E-Junkie is a great company that automatically manages both the product sales AND the affiliate program. They have a sophisticated back end that will keep track of your affiliate ID, your sales, your contact information, and the like. The team here at FlatBooks.com can look at E-Junkie to check on sales from all the affiliates and keep track of things.

How do I check my earnings?

After logging into the Affiliates Admin, click View/Download Earning Report. It will give you all the details of people that have followed your links to purchase a product.

What if the customer returns a product?

This is not very likely to happen, since we have only had a handful of returns after 5 years in business! But, if they do return the product, you will lose the 20% commission.  All of this will be automatically handled by the software.

Can I take the link and SPAM the world to make money?

No.
